Open Range was originally launched in 2000 to service the needs of UK resellers who wanted a competitive, alternative source for a comprehensive Product Data Base.  Although we have supplied product content services to leading manufacturers like Compaq, IBM, Toshiba and Hewlett Packard, our main focus was in servicing  UK resellers.  Open Range pioneered driving the costs of quality product content down to a level that is affordable for most companies.

With numerous leading UK IT Resellers Distributors choosing our Get-the-Spec product data services, it became apparent that there was a need for a supplier who understood the market and could supply complete e-Commerce solutions.  In response to requests from our customers, we now offer complete solutions for Web Stores, Integrated Electronic Ordering, Data Importing, E-Mail Marketing and Web Site Design. Open Range has operated in the IT, Office and Consumer electronic sectors from the beginning, and the founders originally came from the IT reseller community.  No other UK company has the level of in-depth understanding of the supply chains in these sectors, having gained years of experience and built up extensive industry contacts.

Open Range is privately owned and is totally self funded.  This ensures that the Company is financially sound and is free to totally focus on delivering innovative solutions to fit the needs of UK companies requiring a professional on-line trading presence..
